“Checked into my room, when I walked in, there was a string chemical smell. Then, after laying in bed for a while, watching a show on my phone, a roach crawled on the bed next to me. Called the front desk. She switched me to another room, saying, "But, it's non- smoking". I told her the first one was supposed to be and she said it wasn't bc my reservation was for smoking. I double-checked, wrong. I reserved non-smoking in the first place. Then, the top security lock was broken on the door so I...

“Good breakfast. People at the reception very kind. Room with a continuous unpleasant smell. Beatle in the bathroom. Leakage from the window and wet towel left near to the window”

“The window was dirty. The towels were stained the tub had a huge patch of fiberglass on the bottom that was rough and hurt your feet. I had to wear flip flops to shower. The shower was stuck on so when you turned the water on you couldn’t adjust the temp before getting hit with freezing water. I’m a big disabled guy and they didn’t have an elevator. I had to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to my room. The door had to be pushed open because it was dragging on the carpet. It was hard to close...

“Great stay will stay here again”

“Under new management and I believe he's doing better also trying to make the property better as a whole.”

“Really unique place. Kinda down a sketchy road, but once you get down to the cabin it was pretty nice. Cabin was cozy and modern with a bunch of great light fixtures. Cabin is clean and well kept. However, we had an issue with the lock and the host was pretty slow to respond. Luckily, we resolved it on our own. Also, it would be nice to have a key to the door closest to the parking area not walking around in the dark to the door straight into the bedroom. I will possibly be in the area next year...

“TerriWas such a beautiful gracious host, brought me beignets on arrival. The cabin was cozy back towards everything I felt so peaceful surrounded by amazing trees!! Listening to the rain on the tin roof! My dog loved exploring all around. He just laid in the front porch. Went for a hike in wooded area. Cabin was clean comfortable great location!! Can’t wait to rent again”

““We had a wonderful stay! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The host was friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.””

“Great place to stay with all you could ask for”

“We loved our stay at the chicken coop; this place was a real gem! I think this may have been the cleanest place we have ever stayed... everything was pristine. Sometimes when you rent cabins, it's hit or miss. This was a definite hit. Inside, it looked newer, the furniture was all comfortable, and it was stocked with all the comforts of home. The host epitomizes what we think of when we talk about "southern charm." The fridge was even stocked with a couple of water bottles, and we found ice in...
